Saturday was the perfect snow day!
It all started when Jacob let us put on all his snow gear...even a hat and gloves. This NEVER happens which results in cold hands and coming in soon after he's touched the snow a few times.
It was nice & warm outside and the kind of thick big and beautiful snowflakes that makes you feel like you're in a winter wonderland and the snow is actually cotton balls.
Dave didn't have work so we set out as a family to clear the drive way and side walks.
We built snow hills in the backyard for Jacob to climb.
We made snow angels.
We played on the swings & sent Jacob soaring down the slick slide into a snow pile...which he absolutely LOVED!
I got Dave good by dumping a snow shovel full of powder on him when he was distracted, and then he got me back by plowing me into the snow.
(but it was one of those days when you kind of want to be thrown into the snow)
And Jacob worked diligently loading and unloading his snow plow his aunt Angi past down to him this summer.
After a few hours we came in and sipped hot chocolate together, put Jacob down for a nap and had a nice cozy Office marathon on Netflix.
It was perfect!
